Park Life

Have you driven along Rickmansworth Road on a Saturday morning, just before 9am recently?

If so, you will have seen lots of runners, wearing a variety of fluorescent Lycra running apparel, gathering at the entrance to Cassiobury Park, near the Peace Hospice.

“What’s going on?” we hear you ask.

Well, it’s a Park Run. An organised 5km run, through Cassiobury Park, free to enter, every Saturday morning at 9am. You register first to obtain a barcode and then your run is timed, so that you can follow your progress every week, as your running improves. It’s not a race, you run at your own pace. The whole event is very well organised, with marshalls all the way round the course.

David Vizard (Sales) has registered and will be joining the other runners this Saturday. He hopes to see his fitness improving over the next few months!

Something else which is already improving this year, is the property market. Numbers of new enquiries from buyers and tenants are up considerably compared to December. So, whether you have a property for sale or to let, there is a buyer or a tenant waiting for you.

Seasonally, the New Year is always a busy time in the property market, and this year looks no different. The scrapping of Stamp Duty for first time buyers has helped, saving first time buyers £5,000 on the purchase of their first home, whilst demand from tenants remains high, with many rental deals already agreed this month.

So, put your trainers on, and look out for David  (on the right) at the start line on Saturday and consider using us to handle your property transaction…we will ensure you make it to the finish line in good time!
