Our flat has been the perfect first home to get us onto the property ladder. We love the fact it has it’s own front door, making it feel more like a house than an apartment. It has a real cosy feel and has all the room we need. There are new furnishings and appliances throughout so haven’t had to do anything to it. In terms of location it couldn’t be better; it’s a 2 minute walk from Watford Junction which has been ideal for both of us commuting into central London. It’s a 10 minute stroll to Cassiobury Park and a similar distance into town. We’ve got everything we need on St Alban’s Road too, including some great coffee shops and a few restaurants that have become our weekend favourites. We’re relocating due to new career opportunities so we’ll be sad to move on if we’re honest and hope the next owners love it as much as we do!

‘This is such a lovely home to raise a family in. There are many parks around for children including the impressive Cassiobury Park. There are some fantastic baby groups close by for mums too and its very convenient for local shops with just a short drive to some of the larger superstores and the main town shopping centre complex. It has the convenience of Watford Junction train station a mere ten-minute walk away of which this puts both St Albans and Watford Junction (and so Euston) on our doorstep. Including access to the M1 and M25 within a 5-minute drive, this house couldn’t be better positioned for transport. It’s also a great for schools as our daughter has just got into an outstanding school which is one of the top schools in the country too. As architects we stripped the house back to its basics and reinstalled all the envelope doors and windows in timber throughout making the house feel extremely bright and airy but also secure.
